Why can’t I switch profiles?

If you’re unsure how to swap between profiles, check out How do I switch profiles?
Hopefully, you’ll find what you’re looking for. If not, try the following:

Check your internet connection

A slow internet connection could be the problem. So check your location, and the number of devices connected to your network. Both of these can slow things down.  
A weak internet connection can also cause issues. Check the strength on your device – if it’s low, try moving closer to your Wi-Fi router.

Restart device

Switch off your device completely. Once it’s shut down safely, switch it on again.
Restarting your device is often the simplest way to fix issues regarding profiles.

Update device

Make sure your device is running on the latest version of operating system. To find out more about how to update your device go to your device manufacturer’s website.

Reinstall the app

For Apple

  1. Tap and hold the app icon until it jiggles.
  2. Tap the x in the top left corner.
  3. Press Delete.
  4. Reinstall the app via the App Store.

For Android

  1. Ensure you are connected to the internet.
  2. Tap Play Store.
  3. Tap the 3 lines in the top left corner.
  4. Tap My Apps.
  5. Tap the app you want to uninstall.
  6. Tap Uninstall and confirm.
  7. You can reinstall the app by going back to the Play Store.

This will ensure you’re using the latest version of DisneyLife. Note that your Downloads will not be kept if the DisneyLife app is uninstalled from the device.
