How do I play Club Penguin Island on a computer?

For Windows

  • Go to www.clubpenguinisland.com/download
  • Click the button to begin the download of the game
  • When a prompt pops up, click "Yes" to indicate that you would like to save the file
  • Click "Open downloaded to install" or locate the file in your Downloads folder and double-click to open
  • Follow prompts to complete the installation
 
Once your computer has finished, there will be a Club Penguin Island icon on the desktop that you can double click to start your visit to the island.  

For Mac

  • Go to www.clubpenguinisland.com/download
  • Click the button to begin the download of the game
  • Go to your Download files and double click the “CP Island” file
  • Once done, drag the Club Penguin Island Icon into the Applications folder
  • Open Finder and open Club Penguin Island from the Applications folder
  • A message will pop up that says “Club Penguin Island” is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?” Select “Open”
If an update is required, the Club Penguin Island launcher will first update the game before you can select Play!

Note: you can save Club Penguin Island to your dock, but the game will only check for updates when launched from the Applications folder.
